One Hour
On Scarves
Stroom Den Haag asked Femke de Vries to create a gift for the Time/Store. Since the Time/Store doesn't work with money but with time, De Vries set herself the goal to make a booklet on scarves within an hour. You can get 'One Hour On Scarves' for free when you buy one of the designs by De Vries (a scarf or a bag for example) or when you subcribe to the Time/Bank.

The Spur of The Moment
“Eternity is a mere moment, just long enough for a joke.”
Hermann Hesse
“Ever since the twentieth century has become influenced by fast social changes which often were short lived all that once seemed obvious and logical has disappeared. Due to these changes, that forced the individual to find itself a flexible and independent approach, eternity and durability as we know it have been sidelined. 'The moment' stresses the sense of the temporary and vulnerability and finds itself in a battle against eternity. 'Now' is the time. Nothing lasts forever."
Remco Torenbosch
The Spur of the Moment is a Nestarchy project in collaboration with Koen Delaere. Koen Delaere is one of the driving forces behind 'Whatspace', an artist initiative from Tilburg without a fixed location or programme. Whatspace organises ad hoc events and exhibitions that occur where the Whatspace-members reside. Projects are realised at short notice and on a whim.
